Lakeside Lodge is located on Big Hills Lake, a 140 acre sand
bottom crystal clear boating, swimming and fishing lake in
the heart of Waushara County, just 1-1/2 hours north of
Madison, 2 hours north of Milwaukee, 4 hours north of
Chicago, and 1 hour north of Wisconsin Dells. This 9 year
old lakeside log lodge is breathtaking, sitting on 19 acres
of woods with 220 feet of lake frontage, truly a serene
getaway. The log home boasts 28' tall cathedral ceilings in
the great room, dining room, and kitchen. The hug stone
fireplace in the great room warms the lodge with its
ambience and a massive log staircase adds to the woodsy
atmosphere. This home has 3 large bedrooms, a sleeping loft
and 3 baths. The lodge features a fully equipped deluxe
kitchen, laundry room w/washer & dryer, gas grill, fireplace
w/fire wood, outdoor fire pit w/ firewood, 1 44" flat screen
TV w/ Dish network, DVD player. Outdoors there is a huge
deck across the length of the lodge and a wonderful screen
porch off the kitchen that is decorated w/ beautiful
outdoor furnishings, a great place for relaxing, playing
games or dining in the summer time. 4 kayaks, a canoe and a
swim raft are also included with your stay. In the winter
the lodge is approximately 8 minute drive from Nordic
Mountain Ski Hill best known for skiing, snowboarding and
